SUMMARY:Nantahala Kids Club Spring 2022
DESCRIPTION:Nantahala Kids Club is for young people living in any of the western North Carolina counties.  It is a five-week program designed to get kids active and engaged in the outdoors through introduction to paddle sports. The focus is on learning basic whitewater safety skills\, and building a supportive community of strong\, confident\, healthy kids. \nThe program is sponsored by the Nantahala Race Club\, the Nantahala Outdoor Center and Endless River Adventures. \nNo previous whitewater  kayaking experience is needed.  The group is divided up to accommodate all skill levels.  Participants are encouraged to advance at their own pace\, while coaches provide individualized instruction and lead group games and exercises. \nAges: 8 – 14 years (Kids 7 and under must contact us before signing up) \nDates: Mondays April 18\, April 25\, May 02\, May 09\, May 16 and Sunday\, May 22\, \nTime: 4 PM – 6 PM for Monday sessions and 10-4 for the full-day session. \nCost: $50 for new members\, multiple-child discounts available. \nProgram details & to register:  https://nantahalaracingclub.com/nantahala-kids-club/ \nRegistration close: April 10th at noon – don’t miss it! \nContact: 828-488-6199 \nDownload event flyer PDF: Need More Outdoors PDF downloads
